October 2020 - Introducing our new School Council representatives!

October 2020 Meeting

Due to COVID-19, our school council meeting took a bit of a twist this month as we asked our representatives to hold meetings in their classes and report back to Mrs Moss with their findings. Children in each class were asked:

  • What great things are happening at school at the moment?
  • Is there anything that we could do better at St. Mary's?
  • Do you feel safe at school? How does everyone keep you safe? Who would you talk to if you had a problem?

Children also found out about the class coin wars that are coming soonas well as information about how we are collecting for our local foodbank in the lead up to Christmas...fantastic school council initiatives!

Below 1 - Examples of minutes from meetings

Children also received a letter of acknowledgement from Mr Mashiter that they will take back and share with their classes (see below for 2 examples)

November 2019 - Thank you to Mrs Moss and the School Council for organising a community coat collection this week for the 'Wrap Up Lancashire' charity.
