Reception/Year 6 Buddies
During the summer before our new Reception children start school, they will receive a letter from their Year 6 buddy who will be with them for the whole of their first year at school and beyond. They will take part in nature walks and reading sessions together, sit with each other in each Worship and assembly and lots more. They will also receive a present from their buddy; a brand new St. Mary's school bag and a starting school story book. This helps our children to settle into school from the very first day!
