"I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me." (Matthew 25:35)
At St. Mary's we pride ourselves on extending a warm welcome to every single person who comes through our entrance to visit our school. We aim to greet people with a smile on our face and we always make sure we do whatever we can to help them.
Our staff have worked exceedingly hard to make our school as welcoming as possible and making sure it reflects our strong Catholic ethos.
We wanted our school topic to reflect our strong belief that everybody is equal and we celebrate diversity at every opportunity. The displays we have created in November help to emhasise this.
Our new Parish Priests have insisted on keeping up his visits to each class on a weekly basis to help with their learning in R.E, Caritas or a Big Question of the moment. We make sure we are following all of the guidance to make his visits safe but we are so happy he can continue to join us!
