A love of Reading

"So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter."

(2 Thessalonians 2:15)

At St. Mary's we promote a love of reading at all times. Through daily class novels, daily guided reading sessions, reading across the curriculum, library books, class library loans, independent reading and 1 to 1 reading with staff as well as reading day events, trips and guest authors, we do everything we can to make sure that a love of reading is at the heart of everything we do. Please also visit our curriculum page which shows how our new curriculum centers around novels and texts...
